Medical Industry Chain Integration Meeting
On September 21, the High-tech Zone held the Medical Device & Biopharmaceutical Industry Cluster Collaborative Innovation Development Promotion Meeting and Signing Ceremony. Vice Mayor Sun Fuchun, Zone Party Secretary Liu Wei, MIIT Weihai Center Director Ruan Xilun, zone leaders Ke Xuemin, Gao Mingdu and Zhang Qiang, Weigao Group Chairman Chen Lin, leaders of relevant municipal departments and heads of enterprises along the medical device and biopharmaceutical chain attended.
Sun Fuchun noted that the city government highly values the medical device and biopharmaceutical industry, with the High-tech Zone as the main base, leveraging Weigao Group to build specialized industrial parks and national service platforms and gathering quality enterprises with strong technology and bright prospects. Liu Wei chaired and said the meeting adapts to new situations and seizes new opportunities; the zone will boldly innovate and act as a "stage-builder" to drive collaborative innovation. Ruan Xilun said the MIIT Weihai Center will strengthen industrial technology services and accelerate cluster cultivation. At the signing ceremony, the zone management committee and Weigao signed an agreement supporting Weigao's high-quality development, and Weigao signed chain cooperation agreements with ten park enterprises.
